My grandfather Peter Gergel was born in kremenchuk ? Nadogarky in 1899
He moved to Germany and lived in Wilhelmshaven and met his daughter Gerda Hanna Gerdes ( born 08/11/1926) for 1 day only in Hamburg
He died in 1947

Looking for long lost relatives. My grandparents are from the Ukraine. One is from either Kiev or kremenchuk and the the other from Odessa. My grandmother's maiden name was Lan(d)sman, My grandfather was Sholkoff or Shulkoff.

After many visits throughtout the Ukraine, I had finally the chance to visit kremenchuk this sunny last weekend. Therefore I feel the need to express my gratidude for the great place, the beautiful structure and sightseeings of the city and its kind citizens. I just meet a lady from your city and my heart telling me I likely ask her to marry me in the future and raise a family. He was Simon Bernstein son of Israel Zvi and Cissie Bernstein.
Simon went to Leeds,UK settled and raised a family of seven.
Always wondering what happened to his parents...in kremenchug.

Two years ago she was in kremenchuk and .. I cannot forget.

Just wondering why it has taken 25 years for kremenchuk to take down its' Lenin statue and start changing some of the Revolution street names. Shame that this proud people are now being used by America (with American money helping them make their decisions).
