Doing research on family born in kremenchug around 1900. Left for the Americas about 1907-09. Names - Assowitch and Skolnick (various spellings). Any information would be appreciated.

I left kremenchug 6 years ago and I still keep in touch with my friends. It was great to look at the pictures, sort of to go back there, although lots of streets sound familiar but do not bring any memory back. Very sad. But thank you very much for giving me this opportunity.

This site goes from strength to strength. I feel that I have been to kremenchuk - the photographs are so vivid. I particularly like the pictures of the people of the city, shopping etc. Alexander and his father are to be congratulated for their skill and enterprise. Malcolm

I would like to express my gratitude to all who created this wonderful site. Now I have a great possibility to view my favorite city not having to leave my apartment. I enjoy visiting your site, and I think it’s a gift to all former kremenchug residents who are living all over the world. Thank you.Well done. I wish you all the best in New Year.
