We adopted a little girl in Jan. 09 from kremenchug,Ukraine.
She is the light of our lives!!!!! I look at your site often, and the pictures make us feel like we are there again . We stayed on Proletarsk St. Near the Allo store on the corner. We also have made a life long friend who lives in that building. It would be really neat if we could see the second story balcony that we looked out for 6 weeks. We were in kremenchug this time last year. If you could also snap a picture of the School for orphaned and children deprived of parental care on the other side of the Dnipro. We crossed that bridge daily. Loved kremenchug , and we are forever grateful.

Yo estudie en kremenchug / KLUGA pero termine en el 87 por lo que no debo haber conocido a tu papa a no ser en Cuba despues. Cuando ese curso llego a Cuba ya yo no estaba por alla y muchos no llegaron a volar. Conozco a gente aqui en Miami que si son de esos años. Te envie un e-mail a tu direccion de hotmail. sure it is possible! as far as i know you don't even need a visa, but you should check it out 'cause i'm not sure! your first stop will be kyiv (capital city) and then you'll 4 hours by car to get to kremenchuk! there are alot periodical buses and cars so it will not be a problem to get there!

How do I find out particulars? My father was born there in about 1899 and came to the US in 1904. I'm curious. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. I speak no Russian.

I am looking for someone who I met in London this summer but I have lost his email address. He says that he went to the Physics Mathematical Lyceum in kremenchuk. I thought I would contact the school who could pass a message onto him. Does anyone know this school? If so, could they please send me the address and phone number of the school please. I adopted my son from the kremenchuk Children's Home in 1999. I stayed with a host family in their flat. The family and their friends were the NICEST people I have ever met! So kind and friendly! I agree with you....kremenchuk people are GREAT!

From Philadelphia, USA... I was walking your streets and courtyards and resting at the great Ukraine war memorial recently. Thank you for all of the wonderful photos of your familiar scenes. I miss you kremenchug!

Interesting…I graduated from KLUGA in 1987. Did you know Cubans from KLUGA at the time? I know a Fernando from KLUGA who graduated in 1988 but he is not in Mexico so this one must be another one…who knows…Any way good luck to Fernando on his search.

Time ago kremenchuk was the center of my life, of my hart, and I screw up many things and I lost her, my mistake, my fault. She's from kremenchuk and I have my heart broken, now I can not do anything, she's with somedoby else and I wish her the best, she deserve it. My family there is great, I miss them much, and also friends.....what can I do now ? I will look for her anyway, maybe I still have a little chance, she's still number ONE. Miss you Kremechuk, Miss you friends and family, miss you princess...

Hacia mucho tiempo que no me comunicaba por esta via, un saludo afectuoso para todos aquellos estudiantes de la Escuela de Piloto de Aviacion Civil que tuvieron la oportunidad de estudiar en kremenchug.
Muchas cosas buenas todos y que la vida los colme de abundantes existos.
Aun muchos estamos aqui en Cuba , pero sentimos aquellos años de estudio como algo especial que ocurrio en nuestras vidas , muchos amigos que nunca mas hemos podido ver, nostalgias compartidas, sueños que no realizamos en la carrera que elegimos y muchas cosas mas.
Ya hoy somos bien adultos , mas de 40 años de edad, con hijos casi con la misma edad de aquellos años, y sobre todo con mucho amor por esta pequeña ciudad que nos dio el placer de conocer y convertirnos en amigos eternos.
