There ARE good doctors in kremenchuk, not too many but there are a few. The point is there are no good hospitals there, and no private hospitals at all. That's what David was asking about. Not about good doctors, there are good and bad doctors everywhere.
I don't know why everybody assumed that David is coming from the US. I didn't see it in his message, but if he is I would definitely recommend to have a baby in the States. I've got two kids, one delivered in kremenchuk, another in the States. No comparison! If there is a choice I wouldn't deal with kremenchuk hospitals. Ever.

Hi David,
I believe, you are going to work with some group of people from Ukraine on your project. It is a good idea to ask your colleagues from kremenchug to help you in this case. They can find a nice apartment for you or an appropriate hotel and help you to organize excellent care about your wife. If you are going to do it by yourself, it can be challenging and even expensive for many reasons. Ask your future or present coo-workers from kremenchug and they will be happy in helping you.

Moving to kremenchuk to work on iron ore projects....want to know availabilty quality and price range of housing/appartments rental in area near river....are hospitals good as wife will be having baby in october....any private hospitals.....quality of hotels

To be fair, it depends on what do you want to do. kremenchuk has its own charm, especially if you are not really interested in cultural events - nice people, easy commute to all parts of the Ukraine. From the other side, Kharkov has much more things going on (I would compare it to downtown Philadelphia - a lot of universities, theaters etc).
